Life moves fast

I remember the feeling of when I first realised that time is running out. In high school, just before Summer holidays, I realised that I will only have another 65 Summer’s left - nothing revolutionary, but it made me realise that, if I don’t use each of those Summers wisely, I will never get that time back.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at things, that feeling of time running out as stayed with me, and I feel it almost everyday of my life. Here are a few ways that this has made me change the way I live my life:

1) Enjoy the small things - that is mostly what you tend to remember.

2) Slow life down - actively be apart of your moments in life, put the tech away and take it all in, even when uncomfortable, you can see, learn and experience a lot.

3) Take money out of the equation - money is a tool, but it’s not a solution.

Cliches of life, but, if not constantly reminded, we suck at executing them - hence, the importance of raising them to our attention consistently.

So, how will you use the Summer’s you have left?
