Zig when everyone else is zagging.

Today, the number of people we are sharing a thought with has increased. More people at the same open inspections, more people viewing the same advertisement, more people in the same degree, more people wanting the same car - it can be overwhelming. Demand is quickly overwhelming supply.

Sometimes we need to take a step back and find another route to our goals and desires. One that gives us more clean air and more time to breathe and make decisions. Hey, giving yourself time and perspective may even result in you finding an alternative that is actually more more rewarding and enjoyable.

As a kid, I always found an alternative to the norm, but I would always allow myself to experience my options. Test drive the new car, but buy the old (and original version) instead. Whilst everyone in high school was chasing new, shiny and fast, I bought old, rusty and slow. In reflection, it may have been the harder path, one that required a whole bunch of delayed gratification, but if you were to ask me today, I am glad I zigged when everyone else was zagging.
