XLVII

“Without stirring abroad
One can know the whole world;
Without looking out of the window
One can see the way of heaven.
The further one goes
The less one knows.
Therefore the sage knows without having to stir,
Identifies without having to see,
Accomplishes without having to act.”

-My favourite piece from the Tao Te Ching so far. It summarises so many lessons of life for me in one simple page. Every now and again, I live days where I can truly understand these writings. My goal is to live these days more frequently.
