Money sucks. Well, kinda?
Part 1:
Whilst people are worrying about how much money they have, they forget what they exchange for it - time! And whilst we, as humans, decide how to use it, save it and spend it, we waste even more time! You see the running cycle here? Money is spent on material goods so damn often, when they are the very items that we should be avoiding.
You got sold a dream or were marketed a product - it’s all good. Companies and brands preyed on your emotions and you fell for it - move on. Money is a tool and that is exactly how it should be used - but be mindful of what the hell is fuelling your purchases and how you justify them.
You exchange time for money, never forget that. No matter how much you spend trying to make up for lost time, you are pulled through life in one direction, just as a school of fish are pulled by the trawlers net.
Money is a tool, but, for far too many, money is a game.
Part 2:
To lighten things up, you have time and you have life and, for these two reasons you are wealthy beyond your own understanding. You’ve already won. You were granted a ticket to both a ride and a show - the movie of your life and the show of the universe experiencing it’s self through the magic of consciousness.
Don’t feel left behind or that you need to compete, just be yourself and live life as you believe it should be lived. Yes, with what you have available to you now and, that may mean having to get creative - have fun with it.
Quick side note: You wouldn’t believe that with 4 post it notes, I have outlined the dimensions of my favourite artwork and enjoyed the bloody thing with my imagination - so much so that I see the piece every time I look at that space on the wall, despite never having even seen it with my own two eyes. I get it, some may think this is sad, but, what is reality anyway? You can use your eyes, but, I, can do just as well with my own mind.
What tomorrow brings, we cannot be sure of, but live true, live brave and live with heart - for these are the riches money cannot buy. The best part, you can have them the very moment you decide to - with no need for dollars, just sense (Got to love a good pun last thing on a Friday night).
