Everything is limited edition
Peoples interests change, society does and so do manufacturing techniques.
As time goes on, I have found it to be quite interesting that some of the most common items produced on planet Earth are seen upon as so plentiful and disposable that they are thrown out and treated poorly, leaving them to quite rare and desirable.
What is given value in society matters so much about price, exclusivity and desirability that things/items that do not meet these narrow parameters don’t hold value - that is, until they become old enough and rare enough that they peak the majorities interest.
Don’t let the rest of society tell you what to value and enjoy - define this for yourself. To me, not having much money meant only wanting things that were affordable to enjoy - if I had to spend an entire day working for less than $100, I was going to ensure that the I did spend was enjoyable for months or years to come.
